El confinamiento por el coronavirus no está suponiendo un parón creativo para Izaro. La artista vasca afirma que estos días se siente “muy cómoda” en su casa, lugar en el que ha compuesto y grabado algunas de las escenas de su nuevo vídeo y precioso single, “Tiempo Ausente”, en el que abre su corazón y muestra sin tapujos sus emociones a flor de piel.

Con este manifiesto ha anunciado Izaro el lanzamiento de la canción:

«Me he construido un retiro espiritual en mi casa en el que cautelosamente no dejo a mi mente escaparse a esos lugares donde no hay respuestas. Las primeras semanas fueron de desintoxicación y descanso, desconexión, de todo, incluso de la música. Y después, sentí como que me volvía a despertar, con el reloj a cero. Y cuanto más despierta estás, más sientes, ¿no es cierto?

Y ya no me aguantaba más las ganas de tocar, la pena del eterno aplazamiento de gira, la precariedad laboral en la cultura, los conciertos, el esfuerzo, el trabajo, el dinero, la energía, el público, cantar, bailar, sudar en el escenario, los nervios. Y empecé a sentir miedo de que mi lugar en la música se lo tragara el tiempo, se evaporase. El tiempo no se para, aunque paremos nosotros. Y yo necesito, vitalmente necesito, poder volver.

Y así escribí esta canción, y la grabamos cada uno desde nuestras casas. Y como ya estaba muy motivada nos grabamos el videoclip también, en casa. Y de repente me siento más cerca de volver«.
