En 2003 nacía en Lyon un festival dedicado a la música electrónica en su diversidad, combinando a protagonistas cruciales de la escena electrónica mundial con descubrimientos de artistas emergentes. Nuits Sonores se define como un laboratorio cultural, artístico y urbano; un festival cuya programación se propone como un recorrido a través del sonido en puntos emblemáticos de la ciudad.
Por el festival han pasado artistas de la talla de James Blake, Chilly Gonzales, Four Tet, Nicolas Jaar, The Black Madonna o Richie Hawtin, y para su 18ª edición ya se ha desvelado el cartel.
En 2020, Nuits Sonores vuelve para celebrar su mayoría de edad los días 19 a 24 de mayo. Enfocado de manera similar al Sonar, cuenta con 4 días, 3 noches, una fiesta de bienvenida y una de clausura.

Nuits Sonores 2020 – Confirmaciones y cartel
Este año pasaremos un día con… Jeff Mills, Dj Harvey, Helena Hauff y Honey Dijon. A modo de curadores, ellos son los encargados de la programación diurna del festival. Acompañándoles podremos ver durante las cuatro jornadas a pesos pesados como Laurent Garnier, Peggy Gou y Marcel Dettmann, y a propuestas tan sugerentes como las de Carista o Charlotte Adigéry.
Las noches vendrán amenizadas de la mano de Caribou, que presentará Suddenly, uno de los discos más esperados del año; los live de Bicep, Sophie y Jessie Lanza, el techno de Amelie Lens, el house de Folamour y la percusión de Poté, entre otros.
